The iHubs model

Keep the flexibility without losing the rest of childhood.

The online school handles the academics. The local hub brings back the practical work, activities and familiar faces a screen cannot give.

The academics. Online.

International qualifications at the right pace.

International GCSEs and A-Levels. Live or recorded lessons. Subject specialists, one-to-one support and a success coach who sees the whole picture.

See the curriculum

The rest of the week. In person.

A real place for the things a screen cannot give.

Robotics, VR, art, digital creativity, Adulting 101 and time with the same faces every week. The curriculum stays online; the hub is for everything else.

These are not like-for-like. Koa is an IEB route. CambriLearn offers several curricula and prices by subject and support tier. iHubs is international only. Examination entry fees are separate for the iHubs route. Prices move, so confirm the final written amount with each provider.

Who each option suits

Rule options in—or out—before you book a call.

iHubs is right if

You want self-paced international academics and, near Hermanus or Port Elizabeth, a consistent place for clubs and people. You are comfortable with the matriculation-exemption step for South African university.

Wingu is right if

You are near Centurion or Cape Town's southern suburbs and want in-person teaching and learning support, rather than in-person clubs separated from the academics.

Compare iHubs and Wingu

CambriLearn is right if

You want a wide choice of curricula and the ability to choose a support tier by subject. An in-person weekly element is not your priority.

Compare iHubs and CambriLearn

Koa is right if

You want an IEB National Senior Certificate with daily small-group pod sessions and do not need an in-person element included.

A traditional school is right if

Your child is happy in a classroom, keeping up and has the friendships they need. Online school solves a problem. If you do not have that problem, do not buy the solution.
